University’s programs are in the English Language, if the student hasn’t met the English Level requirements, he/she will be required to take English Proficiency Exam. Students who demonstrate an inadequate level of English proficiency to carry out their studies in their departments are required to improve their level of English by attending the English Preparatory School. The main goal of the English Preparatory School is to empower students to gain competence in the European Common Language Portfolio (CEFR) standards. In our English Preparatory School in each classroom, there are around 15-20 students. Classrooms are equipped with full technology including smart boards and computers with internet access. Our academic staffs are highly qualified, skilled, and use modern teaching approaches. In the English Preparatory School, the curriculum is planned carefully. Our aim in our courses is to make every lesson improve English and from a friendly bonding between students and teachers. English Preparatory School is a milestone for students: at this point, many students really begin to ‘take off ‘in terms of their ability to communicate. Some students, however, may see preparatory school as a ‘plateau’ and feel that they are no longer making the progress they were before. So, with the help of these lessons students will have fresh challenges to help them to realize how much they know and to make their passive knowledge active. Students will intake the new language and will be able to process it. The basic tools students need to speak English with confidence are Grammar, Vocabulary, and Pronunciation.
This course will provide a chance to improve equally in all three elements. In addition to these students will be able to improve their reading, writing, and listening skills. Students who successfully complete the preparatory class will be able to use English effectively at the independent user level according to the European Common Language Portfolio Standards. Students who successfully complete the English Preparatory Program will be eligible to enroll in the relevant departments and will be considered efficient speakers.
